These terms cover paid digital grow guides sold through How To Grow Mushrooms. They apply to every guide we sell, and they sit alongside our privacy policy. Reading the free guides on this site needs no purchase and is not covered by these terms.
Who sells it
Guides are sold by Whizz People Ltd.
How To Grow Mushrooms is the name of the site and publication. Whizz People Ltd is the seller of record.
What you are buying
You are buying a digital PDF guide. Nothing is posted to you. The first guide is The Oyster Mushroom Grow Guide.
The guide is licensed to you, not sold outright. You may:
- read it on your own devices and keep a copy for as long as you like;
- print it for your own use.
You may not resell it, share it publicly, post it online, send copies to other people or use it for commercial training or a paid course. If someone you know wants a copy, they can buy their own.
Who can buy
Guides are sold to customers with a United States billing address. Prices are in US dollars (USD). Any sales tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number; Stripe passes us only the details we need to complete your order, such as your name, email address and what you bought. Delivery
The guide is delivered as a download link. The download button appears on the confirmation page straight after payment.
Each purchase includes one download, so save the file somewhere safe once it is on your device.
If the download fails, contact us with the email address you used to buy and we will send you a working copy.
No refunds
Guides are digital downloads that you can use as soon as you have paid, so all sales are final and we do not offer refunds. Please read the guide’s description on its page before you buy.
If something goes wrong on our side, we will put it right:
- The download does not work or the file is damaged: contact us with the email address you used to buy and we will send you a working copy.
- You were charged but never received the guide, and we cannot deliver it: we refund the full price to the original payment method.
Educational content only
Our guides explain how to cultivate mushrooms, drawing on published extension and university sources. They are educational, not professional advice.
- Growing mushrooms and eating them is at your own risk.
- Eat only mushrooms you have grown yourself from known spawn of a species you have identified correctly. Never eat a mushroom you cannot identify with certainty, and never rely on a guide to identify wild mushrooms.
- Nothing in a guide is medical or health advice. If you have an allergy, a health condition or a concern after eating any mushroom, speak to a doctor.
- Results vary with your room, your supplies and your technique. We cannot promise a particular harvest.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed. Changes apply to purchases made after the update; a purchase you have already made stays under the terms in force when you bought it.
